Lack of updates

April 24, 2011 1 comment

Hi all, sorry for the lack of updates lately, I recently switched jobs and currently am trying to juggle between the new job and developing Android Apps. I may be putting the new version of Show IP Widget on hold first for a while longer and work on newer apps as I have hit a small roadblock trying to put up big improvements for the widget (such as configurable sizes, colors, etc). Rest assured, this won’t be the last time you hear from me. Stay tuned!

New Look & Discussion Forum

November 23, 2010 Leave a comment

I’ve changed the look of the site and added a discussion forum where you can discuss about my android apps, post suggestions and bug reports. I’m still busy with moving, so I probably won’t be updating the apps so soon, but we’ll see how it goes! Stay tuned 🙂

Busy

November 13, 2010 Leave a comment

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates. I was supposed to be working on a newer version of Show IP Widget but I just recently got the keys to my new home (which I am the 2nd owner) after waiting for more than 6 months. Anyway, since I just got the keys I’ve been busy moving some stuff (small stuff) over to the new place as it is just about a mile away from where i’m currently renting. So I might not be able to do any android programming for the time being until I move over to the new place which is tentatively around mid-december. I’ll try though in between this period if I have the time.

Don’t worry, there’s still more updates to the apps and more apps to come, it won’t just end here that easily! Stay tuned!

All Apps Are Now On The Official Android Market!

November 1, 2010 Leave a comment

Finally I paid the android developer fees of USD $25 and published all of my android apps that you’ve seen here in the official android market! Just search for “Malcolm Lim” and you will see the list of all of my android apps. Hopefully my apps will be able to reach out to more people out there and benefit them as they have benefited me, which is why I developed them in the first place. More updates coming soon within the month. Stay tuned.

There will not be a Nexus Two according to Google CEO

July 4, 2010 Leave a comment

According to Google CEO Eric Schmidt, there will not be a nexus two. Google was not trying to compete with other smartphone makers such as Apple’s IPhone but rather, the idea was to bring the android platform hardware forward. I believe this makes sense as Google has not been pushing Nexus One since its launch. Since its quite likely that there will not be a nexus two, this means our Nexus One phones will be the ONLY “google phone”, hence it’ll be a unique phone and possibly go down in history when google stops selling the phone at one point. It’ll probably fetch a high(er) price than its original, who knows, since its the only “google phone” around despite its aging hardware (In the future) and possibly software. Time will tell.
